Welcome to Chemistry
I am very excited to be teaching Chemistry this year. I am sure that all of you are a little nervous about taking chemistry. Chemistry is one of the most exciting subjects in science. I find it fascinating that you can use all kinds of methods to discover just how things work in the chemical world. This year we will be performing many labs and doing a lot of activities to reinforce the subject matter that is being taught. For most of you, the lab portion will be the most challenging. This is an opportunity for you to see, do and learn the aspects of Chemistry that will help you in your first semester of chemisry in college. My fondest memories of college were in a Chemistry lab!!
Course requirements: 3 ring binder, loose leaf notebook paper, a TI-30 calculator or better, pens and pencils
There is a $10 science fee. Due to a system malfunction, this will not be collected until a later date. Thank you for your understanding.
